Cidade 21 escolhe nova diretoria
Em assembléia realizada no dia 13 de maio, a Ong Cidade 21 definiu a escolha de nova diretoria para completar o mandato até maio de 2008. Para diretor-presidente foi escolhido o sociólogo e também professor da Uff e do Cefet, Nelson Crespo Pinto Pimentel. Para a diretoria e coordenação administrativa respectivamente Gláucia Mendes Teixeira Marcos Guimarães Maciel.
Na ocasião foi feita ainda a prestação de contas da gestão passada e também ficou definida a data de 3 de junho para a realização de uma nova oficina de planejamento estratégico para discussão e deliberação dos projetos que serão priorizados pela entidade nos dois próximos anos.

Watch subject. Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? How does that work in a democracy again? the country with the most weapons the biggest threat to the rest of the world? When one country is the biggest threat to the rest of the world, isn't that likely to be the most hated country?
Are we safer today than we were before?
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!
Bush is forever saying that democracies do not invade other countries and start wars. Well, he did just that. He invaded Iraq, started a war, and killed people. What do you think? Why has bush turned our country from a country of hope and prosperity to a country of belligerence and fear.
Our country is in debt until forever, we don't have jobs, and we live in fear. We have invaded a country and been responsible for thousands of deaths.
The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren't living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.
